Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve is 15000ha in size and located in an untouched wilderness area south of the magnificent Cederberg mountains, three hours from Cape Town near Ceres. The reserve is well known for its scenic beauty and dramatic rock formations typical of the Cedarberg and has a rich cultural heritage with hundreds of Bushman/San rock paintings or rock art of up to 6000 years old.

In this arid land you will find many species of game typical of the Western regions of South Africa and these include gemsbok/oryx, eland, springbuck, bontebuck, zebra, blue wildebeest, black wildebeest, baboon, grey rheebuck and klipspringer. Hundreds of bird species as well as some rare reptiles can be found once you look closer.
