Terms & Conditions

RATES

1. Quoted in South African Rand on a per person per night basis.
2. Bushmen Lodge rate includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, 2 guided excursions, luxury accommodation, 1% TOMSA levy and 14% VAT.
3. Day Visitors rate includes lunch and 2 excursions (minimum 2 passengers).

CHILD & SHARING POLICY

1. Children: 0-2 years Complimentary
2. Children: 2-12 years 50% of sharing rate.
3. One adult sharing a room with a child pay sharing rate.
4. No third adult sharing.
5. Huts with sleeper couch - maximum 2 children sharing.
6. “Caves” with extra mattress - maximum 1 child sharing.

PAYMENT

1. 50% Deposit to confirm booking.
2. Full payment 14 days prior to arrival.
3. "Payment in Full" = rack rate less commission as agreed.
4. If payment is not received timeously, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation without further notice.

CANCELLATIONS

The following cancellation fees will be applicable:

1. 29 to 22 days prior to arrival 10%
2. 21 to 15 days prior to arrival 30%
3. 14 to 7 days prior to arrival 50%
4. 6 to 3 days prior to arrival 65%
5. 3 to 1 day prior to arrival 80%

COACH/MINIBUS DRIVERS, LOCAL TOUR GUIDES AND PILOTS

1. Groups of 15 paying guests or more - 1 local driver and 1 local guide per coach at 50% discount.
2. Groups of less than 15 paying guests - 1 local driver or local guide at 50% discount.

CHECK-IN TIME - 14H00 - We will endeavour to accommodate guests for earlier check-in times if required, subject to availability.

CHECK-OUT TIME - 10H00

BUSHMEN LODGE ELECTRICITY - (230V 50Hz) is powered by Hybrid Power System (diesel generator and solar power) and is ON from 06h30 - 23h00 daily. 24-Hour electricity can be arranged at an additional cost.
